An incredible experience - the rooms, the food, the staff - everything! We had a perfect evening! For dinner we enjoyed several dishes from the appetizer and shareable’s sections of the menu, along with perfectly crafted cocktails. Our room was very clean, comfortable and beautifully appointed. Before heading home we enjoyed a delicious breakfast.
I just celebrated a milestone birthday and The Embers was everything I could have hoped it would be! The staff and the Appalachian suite were exceptional! I loved the ambience of the hotel and the location was ideal! We will be returning in the future! Thank you to everyone for a memorable stay!
Love Embers! Everything was wonderful. Room was clean, with lots of room. The bathroom was lovely, hot and great water pressure. The mattress was very comfortable, which is usually a problem for me at most hotels, not this one. I slept like a baby. My husband skied and it wasn’t a bad drive to the mountain. The hotel staff were very professional and helpful. Oh, and loved the breakfast pastries! Definitely will be going back when we stay in NC again!
Spent a night here recently and couldn't be happier !! The room was perfect! Bed was so comfortable :) The room was clean, plenty of lights and plugs to use ! The bathroom was nice and spacious to use... amenities in the room was Nice!! Staff very personable and helpful ! Would definitely stay here again!
We love visiting Blowing Rock a few times a year and decided to stay at the Embers Hotel, easy to say we will stay there going forward! The hotel was super clean, perfect location next to the Speckled Trout in downtown Blowing Rock, and the staff was attentive and amazing with every interaction we had! The fresh baked cookies and bottled water in the lobby were also a plus . We also went to the bar more than once and the bartender each time was Sean, he was so great and the drinks were amazing. We unfortunately didn’t get to try the restaurant, however we will definitely add it to the list the next time we stay
Lovely hotel stay for girls weekend with sister-in-law and cousins. Our room on the third floor was very nice. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant one evening, which was very delicious and well done. The location is great because it’s very easy to walk to Main Street and visit all the shops there and any other attractions such as the museum. We also shopped at the public library book sale, and came home with six books Two staff that must be mentioned because they were wonderful are Thomas from the front desk who we first made a reservation with and then spoke to several times during our stay, especially to make sure we got the fresh baked cookies in the afternoon. Sean, the bartender is excellent and very fun to speak With on a variety of topics. This was a very enjoyable stay including playing several games of Clue in front of the fire downstairs. I will definitely visit again.
Modern, warm, cozy! Beautiful hotel at the heart of such a wonderful town. We stayed here for 1 night during our Fall Foliage trip across Blue Ridge Parkway in October 2025. The room was gorgeous. Good storage, nice bath, warm lighting, smart tv. The balcony was good, but they are right next to each other and our view wasn’t that great. The location of the room is a highlight. It sits right next to the Main Street which is very charming with flowers, gardens, seating and very vibrant stores. We were glad we reached the hotel before sunset that we could experience the walk across this street. The breakfast (paid a-la-carte) was also great! We got the breakfast Sammy along with Waffles. The waffles were soft, airy with nice berry compote and the sandwich was just as we asked - overly hard fried egg with white bread.
5 Stars - Fantastic stay at The Embers! We had a wonderful experience at The Embers Hotel. Our room was spotless, stylish, and extremely comfortable, and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. The location is perfect - right in downtown Blowing Rock and an easy walk to great restaurants and shops. We also loved the cozy bar and restaurant on-site. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations. We’ll definitely be back!
